EIFS
Exterior insulation and finish system (EIFS) is a general class of non-load bearing building cladding systems that provides exterior walls with an insulated, water-resistant, finished surface in an integrated composite material system. Systems similar to EIFS are known as External Wall Insulation System (EWIS) and External Thermal Insulation Cladding System (ETICS).
Torch Applied Waterproofing System
Torch Applied Waterproofing System consists of SBS & APP modified membranes. This system mostly referred as conventional system for waterproofing. It has great history of being installed in sub-structure, foundations & roofing. Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) describes a family of synthetic rubber derived from styrene and butadiene. SBS is a thermo plastic elastomer that has an excellent abrasion resistance and aging stability when blended with bitumen, making it the perfect bitumen modifier to achieve cold flexibility and elastic properties. APP-modified bitumen is a plastic bitumen blend, which is modified using plastic in the form of atactic polypropylene (APP). APP has a high temperature tolerance that makes it more suitable for roofing on residential properties and commercial flat roofs.
